Statement Regarding Floreat Surf Life Saving Club

The Town of Cambridge has been notified that Construct360, the contractor appointed to deliver upgrades at the Floreat Surf Life Saving Club, has been placed into liquidation.
The Town received initial notification from the contractor on Wednesday 12 February and, as the owner of the building, promptly secured the site and restricted access. We have requested additional information from the company’s liquidator to clarify the next steps.
Construct360 commenced work on the building in November 2024. The Town recognises the critical role of the Floreat Surf Life Saving Club in helping beachgoers enjoy the ocean safely, and we will seek to recommence construction as soon as possible.
The Town is working closely with the Floreat Life Saving Club to ensure impacts on its operations are minimised.
