Celebrating our sporting stars at the 2025 Sport and Active Recreation Awards

The 2025 Sports and Active Recreation Awards were a resounding success, with 110 attendees coming together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Central Highlands’ sporting community. The evening featured an inspiring Q&A session with Olympic gold medalist Cate Campbell, who shared insights from her career and took time to meet guests, making it a truly memorable experience. 

The event also saw local athletes, volunteers, and clubs recognised for their dedication and passion, highlighting the region’s thriving sports culture. Adding to the night’s success, MC Greg Pullen led a silent auction, raising $630 for the Melanoma Institute, while live entertainment, great food, and community spirit made for a fantastic celebration.
