In Summary Activities in the Park Autumn program will run from March to May 2025, offering 60 free and low-cost activities across Greater Shepparton. Exciting highlights include Movie Nights, Playground Escapades, and nature-based activities celebrating the autumn season. International Women’s Day events feature Yoga, Scones and Salsa in the Park, promoting gender equality while enjoying the outdoors. The program provides an opportunity for Greater Shepparton residents and visitors to participate in a number of free and low cost activities, encouraging people to be outdoors and get active.

With 60 activities on offer, people of all ages and abilities can enjoy a mix of returning favourites and exciting new experiences. Program highlights include Movie Nights at Tallygaroopna and Shepparton East, Playground Escapades across small towns, and an array of nature-based activities that highlight the autumn season.

International Women’s Day celebrations also feature in the program with Yoga, Scones and Salsa in the Park all on offer to celebrate women and promote gender equality whilst enjoying local parks.

Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged people of all ages and abilities to get active in our local parks and facilities this autumn, and to participate in the many free activities included in this program.

“As summer comes to an end and we welcome the crisp, refreshing days of autumn, I urge both residents and visitors to explore the program, bring along friends and join in the fun,” he said.

“This program is all about bringing people together, staying active and making the most of our region’s incredible spaces.”
