In Summary Works on Ford Road (between Numurkah Road and Kakadu Drive) will take place on Thursday 13 March 2025, from 7.00am to 6.30pm (weather permitting). The project involves road stabilisation and resealing, including spraying hot bitumen and applying stone aggregate. Expect delays and traffic management in place. The road remains open to through traffic, with property access maintained. Alternate routes are advised. Road users and pedestrians must follow signage and traffic controllers' directions. Council appreciates the community’s patience during these essential works.

The upgrade works will include stabilising a section of the road followed by re-sealing, involving spraying hot bitumen and immediately spreading stone aggregate on this section of Ford Road.

Works will be undertaken on Thursday 13 March 2025 between the hours of 7.00am and 6.30pm, weather permitting.

Traffic delays are to be expected and an alternate travel route is suggested. The road will be open to through traffic under traffic management with access to residents and properties provided as required.

Road users and pedestrians are asked to obey all on site signage and direction provided by traffic controllers. The community is requested to take care and be aware of the traffic changes in place.
