Council commits $70,000 in funding for 2025 Cairns Show

A $70,000 funding commitment will help the Cairns Agricultural Pastoral and Mining Association deliver the 2025 Cairns Show.

Staged annually since 1891 and now the largest regional show in Australia. this year’s Cairns Show will be held from 16 to 18 July.

The three-day event is expected to attract about 70,000 people, including 15,000 intrastate visitors, with a potential direct and indirect economic impact of $1.7 million to the Cairns region.

Funding support is provided through Council’s Community Partnerships Grant.
