Three Decades of Dedication: Cambridge Honours Long-Serving Staff

As the Town of Cambridge celebrates its 30th anniversary, five dedicated employees are also marking a major career milestone with three decades of continuous service.

Scott Leckie, Glenn Fowler, Jasper Silver, Geck Tay, and Domenic Scibilia have been with the Town since 1995, shaping the community through their commitment and expertise.

Their contributions span key areas of the Town’s services and facilities:

Scott Leckie – Crew Leader, Wembley Golf Course Glenn Fowler – Ground Maintenance Worker, Wembley Golf Course Jasper Silver – Coordinator, People & Culture Geck Tay – Irrigation Maintenance Officer, Parks & Natural Environment Domenic Scibilia – Leading Hand Built Assets, Parks & Natural Environment

Together, they have played a crucial role in maintaining the Town’s public spaces, supporting its workforce, and ensuring local facilities continue to thrive.

Acting Chief Executive Officer Kelton Hincks said their long-standing service reflects a deep commitment to the community.

“Reaching 30 years in one organisation is a remarkable achievement. These team members have witnessed the Town’s transformation and have each contributed to its success,” he said.

“We are proud to recognise their dedication and hard work.”

The Town also acknowledges Domenic Charles, Ground Maintenance Works, who recently celebrated 25 years of service.

The Town of Cambridge extends its gratitude to these outstanding employees and looks forward to their continued contributions in the years ahead.
