Landfill still closed

Kyogle Landfill Facility is closed as a result of serious damage sustained during the Cyclone Alfred weather event  that impacted the cell that holds the general waste.

Council is working to rectify the issue as quickly as possible and appreciates the community’s patience while this is done.

The Lismore Recycling and Recovery Centre, the Nammoona (Casino) Waste and Resource Recovery Facility and the Nimbin Transfer Station are open should people need to dispose of general waste or recyclable materials in the interim.
