Mareeba Shire Council is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Health & Local Laws team to support maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for the community and visitors.
The Role:
The Health & Local Laws Administration Officer supports the Health & Local Laws team to provide customer-focused regulatory enforcement of Council’s local laws. The role assists with responding to customer enquiries, conducting investigations into concerns and promoting positive community compliance.

You will have high-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of customers You will have strong administrative skills and be able to prioritise your workload and work with accuracy while under pressure You will have proficient computer skills with a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs You will have finely honed interpersonal skills to be able to meet the demands of challenging customers You will respect the need to follow procedures, guidelines and directions to ensure efficient and quality servicesWhat we can offer you:
