Creative Kids Holiday Fun

'Changing Shapes' is an interactive workshop by local award-winning company Threshold, for children from 8-12 years, that explores changes big (and small) that shape us.

Moving house, making new friends, losing a tooth, or even welcoming a new pet – through storytelling, movement, and theatre games, kids will have the chance to reflect on their own experiences and express them in a fun, supportive space.

Join theatre makers Sylvie Meltzer and Sarah Lockwood for these workshops, to be held on Tuesday 15 April from 10.30am-12pm and 1.30-3pm in the main auditorium at Kyneton Town Hall.

The cost for each workshop is $15 per child. Register for this event via the link at the top of this page.

Glow Lounge – Dance Party for Babies

Step into the rich sonic world of Glow Lounge: an intimate dance space for families with babies under 12 months.

With mellow lighting, subdued colours and chilled rhythms, this gentle, immersive experience encourages families to ebb and flow together, finding their shared rhythm through movement and gesture.

Guided by the lush sounds of Zindzi Okenyo's voice, with elemental beats by Zoë Barry, each family will create their own unique dance experience with their youngest family member at the very centre.

Each event lasts for 20 minutes and will be held in the Richardson Room at Kyneton Town Hall on Tuesday 15 April at 1pm, 1:30pm and 3pm.

These are free events, but places are limited and registration is essential. Register for this event via the link at the top of this page.
