ANZAC Day (25 April) is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand when both nations commemorate Australians and New Zealanders who have served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
Commemoration services to pay respect to servicemen and women are being held throughout the shire.

There are no changes to bin collection days - please put your bins out as usual.
A service will be held at the Gisborne Memorial Cenotaph, Howey Reserve, at 10:30am. There will be road closures and traffic management in place.

Malmsbury 8am at Memorial Gardens. Mt MacedonA Dawn Service will be held at 6am at the Mount Macedon War Memorial Cross.
If you wish to attend the Dawn Service, you must book a seat on one of the free bus services or catch the shuttle service from Tony Clarke Reserve in Macedon.

Romsey-LancefieldA wreath-laying service will be held Romsey Cenotaph at 9am.
Following this, a service will be held at 10:30am at the Lancefield Cenotaph in High Street.
