Uptown have performed extensively in venues and clubs around Australia since 2012. The Newcastle based 5-piece have also been one of the Hunter Valleys most popular acts to entertain weddings, parties and corporate events with a long list of very happy clients. Their sound is funky, and ever so fresh with a great list of party anthems that will have you up shaking it and the Dance Floor begging for mercy!

The word ’Chameleon” comes to mind when talking about Jamie Lindsay’s 20+ year musical journey. Through those years Jamie has been fortunate enough to work alongside and learn from many industry personalities such as Harry Vanda (Easybeats/AC/DC), Tim Farriss (INXS) and more recently, Australian born/American based hit producer, Mark J Feist (Destiny’s Child/John Legend/Celine Dion). His vast repertoire consists of songs from the 60’s to today’s current hits covering classics from John Farnham, Cold Chisel and Michael Jackson to Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers and Aviici.

Uncle Jed took the nation by storm with their spine-tingling performances on reality TV show ‘Australia’s Got Talent’. The trio went on to win the competition, propelling their album to #6 on the itunes Charts and the audition videos receiving millions of youtube hits. The Band has since gone on to sell out shows on multiple national tours and have recently recorded their 3rd studio album. When you combine three siblings with a love of music, the chemistry is truly magical, Uncle Jed has that family band feel and you can always tell they are having a fun time on stage together.
