Fantastic Fundraiser Gains Council Support

Mayor, Cr Katrina Humphries emphasised how important it was for council to give back to the community it serves, “it’s great to see so many community organisations receive much needed support that will further help them to deliver more exciting projects and services that benefit our entire community”. Chairperson of the Fairview Board, Mrs Vanessa Parkes agreed, “we couldn’t continue this wonderful event without the backing of Council and generous local community groups and businesses who have donated the raffle and auction items, along with the fabulous volunteer organizing team headed by Joy Peachey”. If your community, sporting or educational group wishes to apply for financial assistance for a local event, function or sponsorship, applications for the period from July - September 2019 are due 14 June 2019.  Copies of the Public Donations Policy and Application Form are available on the MPSC website at Council’s customer service centres at the Max Centre, Mungindi and Boggabilla, and also at the Moree Community Library.
