Local Government Week (29 July – 4 August) is a great opportunity for us to share our amazing staff and the work your Council does year-round with you.Northern Beaches Council is the largest employer in the area, so chances are our staff are your friends, neighbours or part of your sports team.You might already see us out and about maintaining 128 sportsfields, running our six libraries, Glen Street Theatre, 41 Community Centres, the Manly Art Gallery Museum and our lifeguards patrolling 21 busy beaches every summer.But there’s even more you probably don’t see in your average day.Council is full of diverse positions with over 40 careers - we have engineers, scientists, teachers, researchers, planners, tradespeople, lawyers and many more - all people who care deeply about the area and our community.Meet some of our staff:Visit our careers page to see if there’s a current vacancy for you.
