PIPE REPLACEMENT, PAVEMENT REHABILITATION & RE-SEALING WORKS ON PROMISED LAND ROAD GLENIFFER
Council will be carrying out emergency pipe replacement works on Promised Land Road Gleniffer adjacent to 1101 Promised Land Road Gleniffer.
The works necessitate the following arrangements:
Full road closure on Thursday 17 of June 2021 between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (weather permitting).Following the pipe culvert works and road closure, road rehabilitation and re-sealing works will be undertaken from Monday 21 June 2021 to Friday 9 July 2021 (weather permitting). In this phase of the programme, the priority sections on the loop from 1130 Promised Land Road to Capararo’s Reserve will be repaired.
Variable message boards will be in place advising of changes in site and traffic conditions.
Arrangements have been made to provide access for emergency services if required. School bus operations will not be impacted by the temporary closure or subsequent works. Residents and motorists are requested to exercise care in the vicinity and adhere to traffic control measures in place.
