Published: 26 November 2021 Civilian Mayoral Appreciation Award Mayor Katrina Humphries was delighted to present two ‘Civilian Mayoral Appreciation Awards’ to a couple of well worthy community members for their outstanding contributions to the Shire.Assistant Manager of Woolworths Moree, Kylie Heffernan was one recipient of an appreciation award for her continual support to the Shire through food contributions, great customer service, and time given to many local projects.Grazier, Tony Hyles, was awarded for his outstanding knowledge of our surrounding water systems which has greatly benefited our community when it comes to water volume and flows in particular around flooding events.Congratulations and thank you to them both for their unwavering commitment to the Moree Plains.
