The draft Delivery Program 2023-2027, Operational Plan and Budget 2023/24 and revised Long-Term Financial Plan 2023-2033 has been released and open for community feedback.
The $496 million budget continues to deliver high quality services and infrastructure our community values.
It includes a $93 million investment in capital works delivering major improvements and repairs, particularly to our local roads that have suffered from flooding and wet weather.
Highlights of the $93 million capital works program include:
$14.5 million resurfacing 6.6km of roads and improving other road assets $13.4 million on community facilities $9.2 million on footpaths, shared paths and cycleways $8.4 million on our stormwater network to reduce flooding and pollution $7.4 million improving reserves and parks at Balgowlah, Dee Why, Frenchs Forest, Manly, Narraweena, Seaforth and Warriewood $4.5 million for recreational trails and boardwalks including Manly Dam and McKillop Park $4.2 million on foreshore improvements $3 million to start work on a new Warringah Recreation Centre $2.4 million on improving sports fields and other sporting facilities $2.1 million on improving centres such as Avalon and Dee Why $1.1 million on tidal and rock pools at Paradise Beach, Bilgola and Mona Vale $1.1 million improving wharves at Mackerel and Currawong Beaches $1 million on playgroundsSee what is proposed in your neighbourhood and provide your thoughts by Sunday 21 May.
