Notice under Section 47(1) Local Government Act 1993Proposal to Lease Public Land

In accordance with section 47(1) of the ‘Local Government Act 1993’, Moree Plains Shire Council gives 28 days Public notice that it proposes to grant a Lease to Moree Boars Football Club Inc. for the following property (‘Land’):

Lot 3 DP 1273387, known as 366 Boston Street, Moree, which is part of Crown Reserve, Boughton Oval (R80914) Reserve. The Land is Crown Reserved Land for which Council is the appointed Crown Land Manager. The land is managed pursuant to Sections 3.21(2) and 3.22 of the Crown Lands Management Act 2016, as if it were community land for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1993. The land use will be football club rooms, clubhouse, amenities, spectator viewing, meeting rooms, canteen and bar, including social events., which is provided for in the Council, ‘Plan of Management for Community Land (Parks, Sportsgrounds, General Community Use)’. The lease term is proposed for 10 years.
