Local star headlines Carols by Candlelight

The vibrant multi-award-winning artist will lead a star-studded cast of talented locals on a night to remember in the heart of the city.Albury’s Carols by Candlelight is one of the best-loved events on the local calendar, with locals and visitors packing the city’s beautiful QEII Square to enjoy the festive atmosphere and outstanding musical and vocal performances.Albury Mayor, Kevin Mack, said the event is a powerful reminder of things that truly matter.“Each year, Carols by Candlelight fills me with a sense of community and joy, visible in the bright eyes and beaming smiles of everyone in attendance,” he said.“We are fortunate to have so many talented local performers and musicians from our region gracing the stage – alongside our very own country music star, Tania Kernaghan, returning to her home town to help us celebrate.”The event will also feature a flying visit from the jolly fellow himself, Santa Claus, who has taken some time out of his busy schedule to make a guest appearance, along with a variety of delicious dishes from local food trucks and vendors.Carols by Candlelight is a free event organised by AlburyCity – all are welcome!Event details: Wednesday, 18 December 2024 – QEII Square  Pre-entertainment starts at 6pm  Carols from 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
