Free kerbside green waste for Cyclone Alfred debris

Kyogle Council is offering residents free kerbside collection of green waste generated by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
If trees or branches fell on your residential property during the event and they are too big to fit into your green-lid bin, please place them in a safe location on the kerb out the front of your property for collection by Council within the next seven days.
Once you have placed your green waste on the kerb, please telephone Council on 6632 1611 to register your address for collection.
Only residential properties are eligible for this service, and it is for GREEN WASTE ONLY.
Please note the Kyogle Landfill Facility remains closed due to damage sustained to the cell that holds the general waste during the Cyclone Alfred weather event.
Council is working to rectify the issue as quickly as possible and appreciates the community’s patience while this is done.
