Easter and ANZAC Day - Closures and Bin Collections

Yass Valley Council would like to advise residents of changes to Council services over the upcoming Easter and ANZAC Day public holidays.

Council Offices and Library

The Council’s Administration Building and Yass Valley Library will be closed over the Easter weekend, from Friday 18 April to Monday 21 April, and again on ANZAC Day, Friday 25 April. 

Visitor Information Centre

The Yass Valley Visitor Information Centre will be closed on Good Friday, 18 April.

Transfer Stations

All Yass Valley Transfer Stations will be closed on the following days:

Good Friday, 18 April Easter Monday, 21 April ANZAC Day, 25 April Bin Collection

There will be no kerbside bin collection on Good Friday, 18 April.

Residents who usually have their bins collected on Fridays are asked to place them out on Wednesday 16 April for collection on Thursday 17 April.
