Developing a long-term vision for East Albury

The Council has launched a Have Your Say page to garner community ideas for designing the plan with a view to guiding the growth and long-term development of the neighbourhoods along Borellla Rd and around the Albury Hospital campus.Service Leader City Development, David Christy, said that, when complete, the East Albury Precinct Plan would take a long-term view of 20 years or longer.The study area is bounded by the Hume Highway, North St, The Harvey Norman complex, Roy Benyon Reserve and Palm Drive, and includes the hospital and neighbourhoods to its west.“A precinct plan is designed to provide a signal for community members, developers, business owners and governments about what level of change and types of development can be expected in an area,” Mr Christy said.“We want to hear ideas from the East Albury community.
