Council’s Vital Infrastructure Projects Continuing

MEDIA RELEASE 7 April 2020 Vital infrastructure projects such as the Suttor, Mitre and Lambert street roundabout, the strengthening of the Winburndale Dam wall and the installation of the CCTV network are continuing.Mayor Bobby Bourke said these projects are moving ahead within the city and around the region to secure and enhance Bathurst’s future. Council has received $2.25 million from the State Government Safe and Secure Water Program for this project with Council also contributing over $7.5 million to the project.Suttor Mitre Lambert StreetExtensive work is currently being done on service identification and relocation which involves gas, water, telecommunications and electricity.
