Cranking up for a wheelie fun day out

Cycling is one of the shire’s most popular activities and there’s a great reason to mount up, with a community ride next weekend as part of NSW Bike Week.Eurobodalla Council’s recreation coordinator Mathew Neason said whether it was two weeks or 22 years since people had last been on a bike the community ride was the perfect time to reconnect with an old passion or learn a new habit.“With spectacular views along the coast, the ride will travel along the Dalmeny shared pathway,” he said.“We’ll have experienced riders from EuroBUG – the shire’s cycling group – leading the charge.”Registration opens at 9am for the 10am ride on Sunday, September 29.
