Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller has welcomed the choice by NSW Health of Liverpool Hospital as one of 11 vaccination hubs to distribute the Pfizer/BioNTechcoronavirus vaccine to select front-line health workers starting next month.Mayor Waller said Council had already expected the vaccination to be made available to Phase 1a staff priority groups – who include ambulance and patient transport staff, emergency department staff, and critical care ward staff – at the largest standalone hospital in Australia.“Liverpool Hospital is the right choice for the early availability of a COVID-19 vaccine to front-line professionals.
