Liverpool celebrates International Day of People with Disability

Liverpool is joining the global community in celebrating the International Day of People with Disability on Tuesday 3 December.The International Day of People with Disability is about increasing public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrating their achievements and contributions.Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre is collaborating with Liverpool City Council and Civic Disability Services to hold a fun-filled day at the arts centre that will include: An arts market (selling the works of artists living with disability);Performances;Mosaic workshops;Virtual Reality experiences; andGarden tours.
