Update: Lagoon opening planned

Update: Lagoon opening planned

Council opened the lagoon entrance on the weekend to minimise the risk of flooding from the heavy rainfall.Today Council has closed the entrance to enable the major sand clearance project to continue. With smaller swell conditions and less rainfall predicted this week the entrance should be able to remain closed and works continue so the project is complete and the lagoon reopened on time for the summer holiday period.--------------------------------------------------------------26 November 2021With the forecast for the next couple of days predicting plenty of rain and a southerly swell, we have dug a pilot channel near the main channel at the entrance of Narrabeen Lagoon.
