Demolition marks a new beginning for Mona Vale SLSC

A new spacious and environmentally friendly clubhouse is on its way to Mona Vale Beach with the demolition of the existing Surf Life Saving Club and nearby amenities building scheduled to start on Monday.The new surf club will include dedicated facilities for nippers, storage for the local board riders club, a function space, a first aid room, family change facilities, improved accessibility as well as a café, and restaurant.This project includes the demolition and rebuild of the existing beach amenities block (The Shed) and includes male and female toilets, showers, change rooms, an accessible toilet and provision for lifeguards and first aid.Locals, lifeguards and clubbies are thrilled with the long-awaited new facilities that will be rebuilt on the same footprint, with increased floor space, totalling 1690m2 over two levels.
