New playground open at Allambie Heights Oval

Kids of Allambie Heights are celebrating after Council officially opened a new playground at the local oval. The playground was initially identified in 2015 as a possible location to help contribute to a diverse range of open space and recreational facilities in the family-friendly suburb, with the facility just steps from the local school, shops, tennis courts and Scout Hall.Construction on the project began in March 2020 before it was completed late last month.
