Green waste contamination on the rise again

We are once again calling on the Cooma community to do the right thing with their green waste (FOGO) bins, with last week seeing a large spike in the level of contamination in the loads being dropped off at the landfill and through kerbside collection.Green waste delivered to Cooma Landfill is sorted manually by our hard-working waste operations workers before being transferred to the composting rows at the compost facility.
