Free dump weekend - this weekend!

From Friday 26 to Monday 29 October 2018, take advantage of unlimited free dumping of domestic waste at Council’s waste facilities.

Now is the perfect time to clean up and prepare your home before cyclone season commences on 1 November.

Residents can take advantage of unlimited free dumping of domestic waste over four days at the Jensen, Hervey Range, Stuart and Magnetic Island facilities. Toomulla and Bluewater Transfer Stations will also be open during normal hours of operation.

You can drop your green waste and recycling at the tip for free, 363 days a year...so don't wait for the free dump weekend!
