Cassowary Coast Regional Council is planning to revitalise the Wongaling Beach Library and would like to know your suggestions.
Use of the library on the Mission Beach – Tully Road has grown by an amazing 20% over the past three years and it is now time to expand.
A Council spokesman said it was essential that the community played a role in planning for the future of such a vital facility.
“Your feedback on the services at the library will ensure the best ideas are captured and taken into consideration of what is possible,” he said.
“We would like to hear from regular library users, non-library members and visitors alike. All groups have the ability to provide valuable information which Council can use to ensure the library needs of the local community are being adequately provided.”
The survey can be completed online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WongalingBeachLibrary1 or pick up a printed copy from the Wongaling Beach Library at 2018 Tully-Mission Beach Road, Wongaling Beach.
Alternatively, have a chat with the friendly staff at the pop-up library at the Mission Beach Markets this Sunday (August 4) and complete or pick up a survey.
Survey responses can be submitted until midnight, Sunday August 11.
