Feedback wanted on proposed upgrades to Esplanade fitness stations

Three fitness stations along the Esplanade foreshore will be upgraded over the next two years. As a first step, Council has produced replacement plans for the fitness stations, located opposite the Cairns Hospital, opposite Crystalbrook Riley, and opposite the Cairns Aquarius Holiday Apartments. We want to know what the community thinks about the proposed plans and their preference order of replacement. The overall aim is to create a fitness circuit with stations complementing each other to encourage movement between each station and ensure a well-rounded workout. Each upgrade will take about 3 to 4 weeks to complete, with the first works to start in April/May 2025.Feedback closes at 6pm on Friday 1 November.
