Boil water notice cancelled for Bartle Frere area

The boil water notice in place for Bartle Frere area has been lifted.

Testing has confirmed that the reticulation network and water supply comply with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, ensuring safe and reliable drinking water for residents.

In addition, the conserve water notice is no longer in effect. Normal water use may now resume, as supply levels have stabilised.
