Have your say on the Local Laws that govern a wide range of activities, from holding events to temporary accommodation.

Council has proposed amendments to 3 Local Laws and 4 Subordinate Local Laws.

You can view the proposed changes below or in person at the Rankin St Customer Service Centre or the Mareeba and Kuranda Library branches.

Following the Council Meeting held Wednesday, 20 November 2024, the Councillors have approved the extension of the public consultation period.

Submissions close at 5pm Wednesday, 4 December 2024 and can be made:
