2025 EASTER CLOSURES

Charters Towers Regional Council would like to wish residents a very relaxing and happy Easter.   

Council facilities will be closed as per below:

Council's Administration Centre will be closed from 4:00pm Thursday, 17 April 2025 and will re-open 8:30am Tuesday, 22 April 2025. The Excelsior Library will be closed from 5:00pm Thursday, 17 April 2025 and will re-open 10:00am Tuesday, 22 April 2025. The World Theatre will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025) and will re-open 10:00am Tuesday, 22 April 2025.  The Visitor Information Centre will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025). Open 9:00am to 12:00pm Saturday (19 April 2025), Sunday (20 April 2025), Monday (21 April 2025). Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025) and Easter Sunday (20 April 2025). The Dalrymple (H.M.Clarke) Saleyards will be closed Good Friday (18 April 2025) and will re-open Tuesday, 22 April 2025. Landfills: Stubley Street Landfill will be closed on Good Friday (18 April 2025), open 8:00am - 12:00pm Saturday (19 April 2025), Sunday (20 April 2025), Monday (21 April 2025). Greenvale Landfill will open Easter Saturday (19 April 2025) 8:00am to 12:00pm Pentland Landfill will open Easter Saturday (19 April 2025) 8:00am to 12:00pm Ravenswood Landfill will be closed over this period.

Please note that Council's waste collection service will not be affected.
