Gold Coast aims to break world record for most sand angels

Forget snow angels – the Gold Coast will set out to break the world record for Most People Making Sand Angels Simultaneously this summer.Gold Coasters are encouraged to lend a hand in the sand and show off their sand-angel making skills on Friday 22 November.The current record stands at 1387 people and is held by Ludington in Michigan, USA.We are Gold Coast and Groundwater Country Music Festival have partnered to support charity Drought Angels, with gold coin donations welcome on the day.
