This could impact low lying areas of the city.However, ALL residents should remain vigilant as it is a dynamic and changing situation.The City’s Local Disaster Coordination Centre will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates to the community.All Gold Coast beaches remain closed today. Sandbagging stations are open from 6am and we will regularly assess the need for them to remain open.Waste and Recycling Centres (WRCs) will remain closed until midday.Residents should:- Stay away from flooded creeks and roads.
