New smart technologies integrated in CBD as part of Yeppoon Town Centre Smart Lighting Project

New smart LED lighting, CCTV integration, smart parking and free public WiFi now operating in the Yeppoon Town Centre have been installed to contribute to building a safe, connected and liveable community for residents and visitors to the Capricorn Coast.New smart LED lighting, CCTV integration, smart parking and free public WiFi now operating in the Yeppoon Town Centre have been installed to contribute to building a safe, connected and liveable community for residents and visitors to the Capricorn Coast.Mayor Bill Ludwig said Yeppoon’s CBD is a vibrant hub featuring a wide variety of retail, restaurants and service operators and it was important to not only improve safety for businesses, but also for patrons while visiting the area.“These works have made the Yeppoon CBD a smarter, safer, and more community-friendly space, with the new additions forming part of the Yeppoon Town Centre Smart Lighting Project,” Cr Ludwig said.
