Go deep into the gypsy heart of Transylvania to Dracula’s Castle in next Armchair Travel Session!

From the famous natural wonder that is the Turda Salt Mine to the medieval town of Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler who inspired the legend of Count Dracula, the community is invited to hear more at the next Armchair Travel session.Held by Livingstone Shire Council Library – this free series of presentations give residents the opportunity to share their travel stories and experiences with the community, while inspiring others to embark on a journey themselves.This Armchair Travel session will be hosted by Anni and Hughi Simmons, Deb Wilkinson and Council’s own Library, Arts and Culture Coordinator Julie Bickley on Wednesday, 13 March, as they recount their 300km journey following the trail deep into the gypsy heart of Transylvania to Dracula’s Castle.
