Follow the trail of Italy’s Cinque Terre at upcoming Armchair Travel event

The natural beauty and authentic Italian culture will be explored at Yeppoon Library next week, as the first Armchair Travel event for 2020 kicks off.Livingstone Library’s Armchair Travel events aim to not only provide local residents with a taste of adventure and entertainment, but also helpful information and advice on visiting different countries, their local customs and culture and what to expect upon reaching these destinations.Council’s very own Library Arts and Culture Coordinator, Julie Bickley, will present the Armchair Travel session on Wednesday 18 March after visiting the Mediterranean country in October 2018.“I’d been inspired by a friend who’d been there before a couple of years ago and said it was a ‘must-do’ visit after I told her that I really wanted to go to Italy,” Julie explained.“Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline.
