Toowoomba Regional Council starts recruitment for new CEO

After more than a decade of leading Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC), longstanding CEO Brian Pidgeon has notified Council he will not be seeking a subsequent term as CEO. “The CEO plays a significant role in the running of the organisation and during his time in charge, Brian has served diligently.” Having previously worked for Ipswich City Council, Mr Pidgeon joined Toowoomba City Council as the Manager of Health Services before being appointed to the position of Director of Community and Environmental Services in October 1998. We’re taking this seriously and will be following due process, to give ourselves the best possible chance to get the right person to lead this organisation, on behalf of the community into the future,” he said.
