The Zeehan works kick-off Council’s Footpath Improvement Program, with footpath replacements in Read Street, Tullah, Read Street, Rosebery and the Esplanade, Queenstown to commence upon conclusion of the Zeehan project. Footpaths were assessed in terms of safety issues, asset condition and budget limitations.
“$80,000 has been allocated in our current budget to complete these improvements across the selected sites,’ West Coast Mayor Phil Vickers said. “Council recognises that many of our footpaths require upgrades and this is a start to that process.”
