West Coast Council will facilitate a meeting at Granville Harbour next week to discuss a variety of matters affecting the small coastal community.
The meeting was scheduled following discussions between Council and the Granville Harbour Coast Care group and will allow Council and other key stakeholders to consider items such as fire hazards and emergency management.
All Granville Harbour residents and ratepayers are invited to attend the meeting, to be held in “Dunno’s” Shed next Tuesday. Those in attendance will have the chance to ask questions about other community items if they wish.
“This meeting continues our commitment to partner with key stakeholders and engage with the community,” West Coast Mayor Phil Vickers said. “The Coast Care group have done a great job coming to Council to talk about areas of concern and this is an opportunity for the wider Granville community to become involved in the process.”
Representatives from TasFire and Parks & Wildlife will also be in attendance, with an invitation also extended to Cradle Coast NRM and Tasmania Police to attend.
The meeting will be held from 10.30am to 11.30am on Tuesday 20 September.
