Wednesday, 31 July 2024 Council prepares for Community Roadshow As American country music legend Willie Nelson once warbled: "On the road again, just can't wait to get on the road again ..."In a first for the Council, Mayor Christina Holmdahl, CEO Kristen Desmond, Councillors and Senior Managers of the West Tamar Council will be hitting the road during the month of August, stopping off at a number of towns for a Community Roadshow.Residents of our beautiful municipality will be able to come along, listen to a presentation from our CEO,  meet with the Mayor, Councillors and Council Executive to discuss your concerns, ask questions and engage with the elected members of your community.Make sure you don't miss one of our community meetings planned for the region, with stopovers planned for:Greens Beach: Monday, August 12 at the Greens Beach Golf Club from 2-3.30pm Beauty Point: Tuesday, August 13 at the West Arm Clubrooms from 6-7.30pm Beaconsfield: Thursday, August 15 at the Beaconsfield Community Hall from 6-7.30pm Rowella: Saturday, August 17 at the Rowella Hall from 12-1.30pm Winkleigh: Monday, August 26 at the Winkleigh Hall from 6-7.30pm Legana: Wednesday, August 28 at the Legana Hall from 6.30-8pm Deviot: Saturday, August 31 at the Deviot Hall from 12-1.30pm
