ENGINEERING DESIGN OFFICER

Council is seeking  an Engineering Design Officer to join a collaborative and supportive team to play a crucial role in the planning, design and implementation of infrastructure projects throughout the Central Coast.  This position is primarily responsible for undertaking survey, detailed design and drafting of a variety of Council related infrastructure such as roads, road pavements, stormwater pipelines, stormwater treatment and detention systems, and carparks.  This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusiveness and respect where every employee feels valued and supported.  Essential: Appropriate qualification in Civil Engineering and previous experience in a civil engineering design role with emphasis on roads and stormwater.
