Our newest Australian Citizens Published on 18 September 2024 A wonderful group of 20 people were conferred with Australian Citizenship during a ceremony at Burnie Arts on Tuesday, 17 September (Australian Citizenship Day) Mayor Teeny Brumby was the presiding officer for the ceremony and welcomed our newest citizens.  "What an incredible evening celebrating the newest members of our Australian family!
