VISITOR SERVICES OFFICER

The Council is seeking a warm friendly person who thrives on providing great customer service to join our team here in Tasmania’s wonderful Central Coast.  The Visitor Services Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our community and visitors to our region at both Hive – Central Coast’s Cultural Precinct and the Penguin Visitor Information Centre.  With the Council having recently embarked on a cultural journey, where the focus is on the wellbeing of our people and the sustainable growth of our community, there has never been a more exciting time to join our team.  Essential: Demonstrated experience in customer service, visitor services or a similar position and a high level of computer literacy including experience in the Microsoft Office suite of products.  Salary and conditions: Casual position, Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Administrative/Clerical Level 1.1- $36.87 per hour.    Applications must be on the prescribed form, indicate the position you are applying for, address the Selection Criteria in the Position Description and be emailed to [email protected]  The Employment Information Package and Application Form are available to download below:  Employment Information Package Application Form For any enquiries please phone (03) 6429 8956.   Applications close at 4 pm on Friday 2 February 2024.
