COORDINATOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Tasmania’s Central Coast Council has a great opportunity for an experienced Coordinator Economic Development.  Reporting to and working closely with the Director Community, Growth and Development, this newly created position will lead the development of the strategies required to position Tasmania’s Central Coast for growth.   The successful applicant will require the skills and experience to create and implement economic development strategies and related documents which are evidence-based, measurable and actionable.  A key focus will be sustainability, ensuring that our growth is fit for place and that its benefits are shared across our community.  With Council having recently embarked on a cultural journey, where the focus is on the wellbeing of our people and the sustainable growth of our community, there has never been a more exciting time to join our team.  Essential:  Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in economics, regional development or a related discipline and a minimum of three years’ experience in a related role.  Salary and conditions:  Full-time position.  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement  Professional Officer Level 3.1-3.5 ($101,793 – $113,843).  Applications close at 12 noon on Friday 15 December 2023 and must be on the prescribed form, indicate the position you are applying for, address the Selection Criteria in the Position Description and be emailed to [email protected].  The employment information package and Application Form are available to download below:  Employment Pack Application Form For any enquiries please phone (03) 6429 8956.
