Council welcomes new Huonville Child and Family Learning Centre

View Media Release The Huon Valley community is set to benefit from a new Huonville Child and Family Learning Centre (CFLC), with construction expected to begin in 2026 as part of the Tasmanian Government’s election commitments.  Mayor Sally Doyle welcomed the announcement, saying “We are genuinely excited about the potential for this new centre to help address the drastic shortage of childcare services in our community”.  The Huon Valley Council, which operates four childcare services in the region, understands how important early education and childcare availability are for local families.
