Have your say on our Draft Governance Rules

Council’s draft new Governance Rules outline how Council meetings will run, how Council decisions will be informed through participation by the community, the Election (caretaker) Period policy and the procedures for staff, Councillors and committee members when identifying and declaring disclosing conflicts of interest. “It has provided us with the opportunity to enable more public participation in Council meetings and makes our processes around such things as disclosures of conflict of interest more transparent.” Council has also prepared a new local law relating to the use of Council’s Common Seal, the mark that something has been approved to be used on documents through a Council resolution. The benefit to having good processes is that it leads to better outcomes for our community.” Hard copies of these documents can be picked up from our Customer Service Centres at 109A Binney Street Euroa and 293 High Street, Nagambie during office hours.
